The Young Entrepreneur Society (YES) is the first and only
organization of student entrepreneurs and aspiring young business owners,
dedicated to advancing and facilitating the fundamental resources to enhance
entrepreneur enthusiasm.
Membership is available to all majors and concentrations.
YES provides the avenue of opportunity for students to
interact, learn, network, and exchange ideas with local and regional business
owners.
Guest Entrepreneurs and Events
YES invites experienced entrepreneurs and business owners to
discuss topics concerning start-up, planning, maintaining, and managing new
ventures. Members will be able to gain wisdom and knowledge from seasoned
entrepreneurs in many fields. The interaction between guests and members
showcases the reality of owning and starting the American dream!
YES connects business students, members, mentors, advisors,
and alumni, by hosting a variety of networking, company tours, and mixer events. YES also hosts an exclusive semi-annual Entrepreneur Mixer Event in Orange County. Please check with the club for further details and dates.
Entrepreneur Resources
YES is affiliated with the: Small Business Development
Center (SBDC) , Small Business Administration (SBA) , Small Business Institute,
(SBI) , and Tri-tech lead development center of Orange County . These
partnerships provide members with the resources and support needed to achieve
their goals.
Entrepreneur Majors/Minors
YES provides the resources and support for consulting
and business plan projects. Professional consultants, specialists, consulting
workshops and other resources are available to all members.
